Get Involved
LACHC believes that all those in need should receive the best in healthcare today. Through the generous support and time of our volunteers we are able to provide all those who enter our doors; quality care, time, attention and inspiration. Through experiencing our services we offer hope.
Give
Thanks to the generosity of people just like you, we’ve been able to provide desperately needed health care services to homeless individuals since 1995. Yet their needs continue to grow, and, in response we must find ways to expand them. Your donations provide the lifeline our patients deserve.
Please consider gift opportunities, such as financial contributions, donations of items from our wish list or job opportunities for those we serve.
volunteer
More than 100 volunteers have joined our mission, including doctors, nurses, dentists, optometrists, local residents and students from our academic institution partners. Given the number of homeless and low-income residents needing our services, we depend on volunteers to grant them a welcoming experience. We seek licensed medical professionals and unlicensed nonmedical volunteers to help out at our clinics and provide community outreach.
if you fit these professional designations or could offer assistance in the following ways, please contact us. You will gain the privilege of witnessing God’s healing, transformative power at work in the lives of the people we serve.

pray for us
We are God’s servants called to share His love by providing quality, comprehensive healthcare to the homeless and underserved.
The teachings of Matthew 25: 31-46 guide our mission and inspire our staff and volunteers to redefine our community by caring
for our neighbors through good works and kindness.
You can aid us in this journey by praying together:
Pray for our volunteers and staff to be ministers of healing, and our patients to receive healing
Pray for new sources of funding
Pray for our staff as LACHC is experiencing accelerated growth in partnership and collaborative opportunities

Our priority is to protect the privacy of our patients and create an experience in which they feel safe and welcomed. For this reason, we offer private tours only by appointment for people who want to learn about our model of care, consider volunteer opportunities or meet to discuss community partnerships.

Our ability to carry out our mission depends upon the quality of medical and administrative staffs. We’re always looking for talented individuals to join us. When you work for LACHC, you’re part of an organization that cares for forgotten or ignored members of our community who are sick, poor and, all-too-often, homeless. Many attempt to manage chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, hypertension and depression, from meager supplies. They also may be looking for ways to survive the grips of poverty, addiction, pain and abuse. You have a chance to make an immediate difference in their lives, shown through the spontaneous smiles on their faces and moving expressions of gratitude.

Our events allow our community to come together with a servant’s heart and offer hope to people who need uplifting. Our biannual Foot Washing Event in Skid Row is just one example of how LACHC offers hope and healing to our neighbors.
